Create a Relationship on Your Own Terms!
“Confidence is a relationship you have with yourself and affects how you see the world.” – Kate McCosh
In this episode, I’m joined by Kate McCosh, a Confidence Coach specializing in helping new entrepreneurs work through their fears and self-limiting beliefs with the aim of building up her client’s confidence.
We discuss the importance of creating a relationship on our terms instead of looking to others to define what that should be like for us. We also break down some social norms, expectations, and beliefs that can actually harm us when it comes to our relationships- single or not.
We also discuss how our self-confidence affects our decisions in our relationships and other areas of our lives. We also look at what other influences and pre-programmed norms we have acquired through various means affect our confidence and ability to choose what really works for us.
Kate and I share our stories in a very honest way with the aim to help others gain insights about their own lives. We also talk about social pressures put on us to have a relationship, marriage, children, and other milestones, both consciously and subconsciously.
After being married to her husband for 19 years, Kate also shares what she thinks has held them together and happy for so long. We also talk about the 5 love languages and what else we can do in our relationships to make sure that we are creating the most loving relationship possible.
Kate is launching a 6-week Group Coaching program for stressed, overthinking women who want to learn how to feel calmer, happier, and more in control. Click the link below to find out more and sign up now.
