I am joined by Anthea McCourtie, who is a registered nutritional therapist, yoga instructor, personal trainer, and transformation coach. We discuss how our body image affects our self-confidence and how that goes on to affect all other areas of our lives, including our relationships.
I was drawn to having Anthea on this podcast as her approach to increasing our confidence through our body image is something I feel we need to discuss more in a time where filters, social media, mainstream media, etc. tell us that we need to look a certain way. We discuss that instead of waiting to create the body you want before you truly start to love yourself, you should start by nurturing and working out your body first. Once you do this you will be able to understand just how amazing your body is, ditch the calorie counting, and create a healthy relationship with yourself – so you feed your body what it needs to thrive and look great too. And ultimately increase your self-confidence!
